I originally knew David back in 1988 when we shared a school tutor group; after losing contact for probably 30 years we recently reconnected via a mutual friend.
I am the Deputy Governor of a prison holding men serving medium to long sentences. Once I discovered that David was developing himself as an independent life coach I was very keen to tap into David’s experience to enhance the outcomes for my prisoners.
David delivered to groups of prisoners (never the easiest audience) and engaged well in a range of topics from mental health, anxiety, drink and drug abuse and life after prison.
David’s lived experience, his ability to adapt quickly to varying topics and the strategies he discussed to deal with emerging problems made him a captivating speaker to my prisoners.
I applaud David on the practice he is building, the content of his ‘Coach Wheeler’ YouTube videos, and the enthusiasm that he exudes is truly inspiring.
David would add value to any organisation looking to support the wellbeing of their team members.

I was looking for a life coach to build confidence and release blocked potential, having that feeling where you think you can do and achieve more but feel stuck.
David was recommended to me by a friend and from our first session via video call, I instantly knew I wanted him to coach me.
He made me feel relaxed, non judgemental and from the first session he was able to identify blockers (my own limiting beliefs) which I didn't even realise I had.
I've had 3 sessions so far and David has used his extensive knowledge to help me tap onto my potential.
I have grown in confidence in general but also having more faith in my abilities when it comes to work and a product I have developed that I am in the process of launching with my best mate.
He has helped me overcome negative beliefs, that my strengths are far greater than I think by helping me focus on what I have achieved rather than what I haven't accomplished yet.
I will continue to work with David and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a life coach.

I have been a parent since I was 18 years of age and I had to grow up overnight, it has been the most incredibly rewarding experience but also exhausting and emotionally draining.
My eldest son is now fifteen years old and we have a beautiful connection, one I’d never felt for anyone else but due to his father walking out of his life and his difficult teenage years setting in, I felt I was almost losing him.
I do not often talk to many people if at all anyone as I have always found that very difficult… but then I found David.
I met David around 8 months ago and since we met he has enabled me to open myself up to someone who’s completely impartial to my world and yet I felt as if I’d known him all my life.
Taking advice from someone as an adult is difficult for a lot of people, myself in particular, especially as I had always seen it as criticism.
But after talking with David he helped me open my mind to new ways of thinking and strategies that have helped me understand my son better and in turn also help him realise his true value.
David has enriched my life considerably and allowing him in has been the most valuable investment for myself and my son.
I urge anyone who is thinking of reaching out for a coach… to just do it!
I needed help with relationship issues I was having with my ex and had heard about David through a guy at work.
I didn’t really know what a Life Coach was or how David could even possibly help me with my problem?
After speaking to David he explained what life coaching was, he explained how it worked and some of the psychology he used, but I didn’t see how it could help me as I felt the issue was with my ex not me?
It was only after a difficult week and some heavy messages from my ex, that I felt I had no choice but to speak to David and see if he could help me out?
He listened to my side of the situation, I showed him some of the messages she had sent and asked I him what should I do?
David asked a few basic questions about our relationship, the set up we had regarding our kids and whether I was serious about making things work between us.
He then explained how my ex may be feeling and to try to see things from her point of view.
He explained why she may be feeling the way she was and why she was saying these things.
He then explained a different way to approach the situation, to word things slightly differently and he said ask her to help me find a better solution to the issue we had both created.
At first it didn’t make sense what he was saying but I didn’t feel it would make things any worse.
I also felt much calmer after speaking to David and knowing he was there to listen somehow made it ok.
The situation with my ex is much better, I have even suggested my ex speak to David. He seems to understand what we are both thinking?
If you have a problem that seems difficult or awkward, David could help you out as he has helped me massively. I would definitely recommend him and what he does.

Coach wheeler was recommended to me by a friend. At the time I was seeking someone to help my son and daughter (17 and 14 respectively at the time) who appeared to be burdened with life decisions and the pressures society puts on them as young people to have worked out their life path at such an early stage in life and make decisions based on that life path, wether it be the choice to continue onto university or which gcse to choose based on the career path you see yourself in, even if you don’t yet know!Although we were having lots of conversations about it all, I couldn’t seem to find a way to relieve the pressure or put them at ease with it all. Watching it prevent them from enjoying the journey of life was frankly breaking my heart.
I bit the bullet and got coach wheeler’s number from my friend and had a conversation. From the outset I realised this would be something positive I could offer my children, if they chose to pursue.
My son decided it wasn’t going to be for him. My daughter however several months after my initial conversation with coach wheeler decided that she wanted to give it a go.
We got back in touch and very quickly were offered some sessions. I then watched my daughter grow in confidence, be more comfortable in her own skin as she developed an understanding of her own core values and goals in life. As we progressed the sessions became further apart and we are now at the stage where non are booked. However, I’m sure there will be times ahead when we will call on coach wheeler again as life throws its curve balls, and we will do so without hesitation.
It’s good to talk with your children but sometimes you need someone neutral, unrelated and trained to guide the conversation positively. I would recommend Coach Wheeler for this to anyone.

Coach Wheeler came into our lives at just the right moment. Given the public platform of this review I will not share any details other than Coach Wheeler was professional and relatable and well versed in advice and wisdom; evoking courage in communication and a step into the right direction of healing. We are thankful for his input and coaching in the time of need and encourage others to reach out to him in their time of need.
